Committees

Education Committee:

This committee is tasked with identifying educational opportunities both for Geek Track and Technical Tuesday during the Conferences and for other training/educational opportunities during the year (Lunch and Learns, etc.).

Outreach Committee:

This committee is tasked with building membership and marketing towards agencies who are not current GA-GMIS agencies or those agencies who have not stayed active.

Sponsorship Committee:

This committee is tasked with assisting our Director of Corporate Sponsorship in activities related to ensuring our vendors/sponsors are supported and valued.  As we grow, this committee will be critical to supporting the Director of Corporate Sponsorships maintain great relationships with the vendors who support us and the mission of GA-GMIS.

Finance Committee:

This committee is tasked with assisting our Treasurer in activities related to our finance and finance related needs.  Individuals here will help in various ways and assist preparing various financial budgets for the conferences.

By-Laws Committee:

This committee is tasked with working out details in by-laws as needed.  This is a committee that is not normally active and is called into meetings as requested by the GA-GMIS board.  They will assist with making corrective changes or updates to By-Laws as needed.
