The Georgia GMIS Information Technology Leadership Program is a joint certificate program between GA-GMIS and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia. It is cosponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association and the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia.
ITLP Program recipients represent a diverse segment of Georgia local governments and have demonstrated a commitment to continuing technical and leadership education. Recipients take their training back to their respective communities and use the knowledge gained in a variety of best practice applications. The ITLP certificate is a significant accomplishment and is widely acknowledged as the gold standard among local government information technology training programs.
