On behalf of the Georgia GMIS Board of Directors, I am proud to announce today that we are accepting nominations for 3 types of awards; Outstanding Professional, Project of the Year, and Spirit of GMIS.   Attached are brief descriptions of each of the awards, and instructions on how to submit nominations.

Georgia GMIS is comprised of IT leaders, professionals, and technologists.  We are individuals, committed to digital excellence in our Georgia communities, and make a difference in our agencies.   Georgia GMIS Board of Directors recognize the accomplishments and efforts of technology-minded individuals across the Peach State.  The Board would like to support those awarded to be Georgia GMIS nominees towards the respective awards at the GMIS International Conference in August at Hilton Head, SC.

Please forward nominations to Cam Mathis, by April 21st.  Any submission later than April 21st, will not be accepted.  The Georgia GMIS Board will review the nominations, and winners will be announced at the Georgia GMIS Spring 2017 Conference in Jekyll Island, April 30 - May 4.
