Georgia GMIS - Fall 2016 Conference
October 16 - 20, 2016
*** With the aftermath of Hurricane Matthews, we are happy to report that the 2016 Fall Conference is continuing as planned. Savannah Marriott Riverfront is still open and ready for attendee's arrival. There were some minor flooding in the Atrium Area, but we have been assured that everything will be cleared for the Conference. ***
We invite you to attend the Georgia GMIS Conference “Measure Twice Cut Once” Fall Conference in historic Savannah, Georgia. It's available on UGA's Website (http://www.cviog.uga.edu/gagmis).
Registration costs have remained $325 for ITLP attendees and $425 for Geek Trak.
Our LGCIO (Local Government Chief Information Officer) and CGCIO™ (Certified Government Chief Information Officer™) programs will be covering the core competencies of "Success Measures" on the first day and "Benchmarking Methods" on the second.
For this conference's Geek Trak, we will be offering Cisco CCNA Routing and switching training. It will be limited to the first 20 paid registrations. Geek Trak will begin on Sunday afternoon, so you may want to reserve a room for Saturday night to ensure you don't miss anything. We have lined up a dynamite instructor that brings a plethora of skills and knowledge so be ready to learn!
Also as a reminder we have the CGCIO™ (Certified Government Chief Information Officer™) program which focuses on emerging technologies, information security, ethics, contract management, interpersonal communication, project and resource management, and sustainability, among other related topics. The cost is $3,600 per participant, which includes the next three GA GMIS conference registrations. Follow this link to apply to the program (http://www.cviog.uga.edu/cgcio).
